The Melus Maris was born from the renovation of a building, from the 1970s, abandoned for forty years in the sun and wind, completely and entirely renovated, equipped with all the most modern comforts, respecting the colors and history of the area.
Located within the Plemmirio Nature Reserve, totally sea view, close to the Plemmirio Lighthouse, near the famous Elephant Rock, the perfect place for diving, birdwatching, mountain biking, yoga and any other lovers sport in full contact with nature. Also ideal for walks through the Mediterranean scrub, along the rocky promontory overlooking the sea.
The villa is an oasis of deep relaxation, with a constant sea breeze, where you can find fresh, quiet and very comfortable rooms, all with private garden and private bathroom, in order to spend a wonderful holiday both as a couple and in family and in a group. The structure overlooks the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area, managed by the consortium of the same name.
The territory is of great importance from the point of view of flora and fauna, but also from a historical point of view. Crossroads for the passage of ships and gods ships of Carthaginians, Romans and Greeks, the Plemmirio area hosts various amphora hills and finds from various eras, including those of the last world war.
Inside the area live several characteristic species such as tuna, snapper, amberjack, dolphins, sharks and sperm whales, hedgehogs. In the intertidal zone there are interesting trottoir with vermeti, Mediterranean biostructures similar to small coral reefs. Melus Maris is actively involved in the development and promotion of Sustainable Tourism, continuously engaging in the implementation of environmentally friendly behaviors, trying to offer its guests an increasingly wide range of tourism services that respect the territory and have a low environmental impact.

The Superior Room is a 24 sqm room, located in the seafront part of the villa, consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, a large bathroom with a very comfortable shower, an external veranda with kitchenette and a private garden. The floor of the whole room is made of natural stone from Noto, guaranteeing freshness to the touch even on hot summer days. The room details are minimalist and very light.
A practical wardrobe, a minibar complete the furnishings. It is ideal for a relaxing holiday for both couples and young families.

Standard Room
The Standard Room is a 20 sqm large room, located in the rear part of the villa, overlooking the garden of the villa, consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, and a private garden. The floor of the whole room is made of natural stone from Noto, guaranteeing freshness to the touch even on hot summer days. The room details are minimalist and very light.
A practical wardrobe, a minibar complete the furnishings. It is ideal for a holiday for sporty couples, who want to fully experience the exterior of the villa and who do not have particular space requirements.
